THE AMADOU PROJECT "mAster-Wel Presents The Price of Freedom"

Presented by the jazz legend, Weldon Irvine a. k. a. Master-Wel, to respond to the shooting of Amadou Diallo, the album is consisted of 24 tracks of deep, soulful jazz / hip hop / funk by the artists such as Mos Def, Q-tip, Talib Kweli, Don Blackman, Rha-Goddess etc. and, of cource, Weldon himself. Released in 1999. The artwork cover is kinda ..., though, the sound is dope enough.
