D'ANGELO "Live At The Jazz Cafe, London"

Recorded on Sep 14, 1995 at Jazz Cafe London, this 6-track mini live recording has captured the freshness of the soul singer in his early career just after the release of his debut album, which was already dope enough even though he was very young at that time, just like Aretha Franklin has sung, 'young, gifted and black'. The house was full of soulful vibe and the crowd was extremely enthusiastic. It's unbelievable how fresh the performance is even though it's been more than 10 years from the live. It's like the 90s version of Donny Hathaway's legendary "Live". Simply classic.

Featuring the tracks from his debut album, including the cover version of Smokey Robinson's soul classic, "Cruisin'".

Tracklisting:
  1. Me and Those Dreamin' Eyes of Mine
  2. Can't Hide Love
  3. Cruisin'
  4. Sh*t, Damn, Motherf*cker
  5. Lady
  6. Brown Sugar
